Play #33 It's All About Being Memorable

I'm sure you have all seen this video by now but I believe this guy truly get's it! Instead of going through all the boring announcements, he turned it into a fun rap. FYI: Southwest Airlines is known for their crew doing things differently and adding fun to the experience!

Energy Brands in NY had an automated message when you called in that went something like this "If you are looking for marketing, press 1. If you are into boy bands, hang up immediately."

Disney (and I could write several blogs on them alone) really gets this concept. They forgot to bring my son Paul's lemonade. When my son called it to their attention, the waitress brought back an entire pitcher, with straws and glow cubes.

Many years ago, the guy in the local pizzeria would always have a unique response if you ever made the mistake of telling him to "have a good one" he'd tell you "I already have a good one!"

So here I am talking about them and it cost them nothing.

Are your clients talking about you behind your back these days?

Today's reflection: How can you take the ordinary things that are part of your job and make them extraordinary? How can you brand yourself as different? How will you stand out?

Bonus points if you do something that brings a smile to the face of a world way too stressed and in desperate need of a laugh!

Extra Bonus Points if you can bring back the fun to your job.

Be different today!
Be memorable today!
Lighten the world up today!
