I've even sent my "Opening Comments" in an email the day before along the same lines above. It is great when we all show up with the same expectations and goals. Starting meetings this way gives the buyer some ownership for a productive meetingAuthorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16026494096655497675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-227398926429590289.post-72709943359579006912009-06-12T01:21:27.446-04:002009-06-12T01:21:27.446-04:00Thank you Ken and Hank for sharing your comments.
...Thank you Ken and Hank for sharing your comments.

Ken: You are spot on! I have a place where I used to say just that but I like it positioned better at the beginning of the meeting per you suggestion.

Hank: I wish I could say that I know these things because I was brilliant. I could have saved countless hours wasted on buyer who had no idea where my presentation was going, largely because I didn't either.Hank Trislerhttp://www.nobullselling.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-227398926429590289.post-87138935247674260732009-06-11T09:37:40.122-04:002009-06-11T09:37:40.122-04:00Paul, as usual great post.
The other item I would...Paul, as usual great post.

The other item I would add to your meeting start script is give them permission to say "NO". Tell them at the beginning of the meeting its OK if at the end of the meeting they don't want to move forward. The statement is a wonderful set up for the question about what the next step would be if they like your presentation and want to move Ken Knickerbockerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05006902395325635651noreply@blogger.com
